Dave Aitken

Dave Aitken is a clinical psychologist at Willow Anxiety & OCD. He works with older teens and adults facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, body-focused repetitive disorders, and PTSD.

Aitken's diverse background includes military service and software development, enriching his therapeutic approach. He completed his doctoral internship at the Veteran's Administration medical center in Grand Island, Nebraska, where he specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy and neuropsychological assessments. His three-year practicum at Willow under Dr. Jakatdar further deepened his expertise.

Aitken employs cognitive-behavioral therapy and evidence-based methods to help clients identify and change habits that hinder their engagement with life. He collaborates with clients to build a fulfilling life aligned with their values. His varied life experiences enhance his ability to connect with clients from all backgrounds.
