Deana Enebo-Short

Deana Enebo-Short, M.A., LMHC, NCC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with two decades of clinical experience.

She specializes in trauma counseling and is a trained practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has volunteered at the Kitsap Sexual Assault Center and serves on the Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management's Critical Incident Stress Management team, providing CISD and debriefing.

Deana holds an M.A. in Counseling from Western Seminary and has worked with Christian relief and development teams in East Africa, preparing individuals for overseas ministry and offering assessment and debriefing for mission organizations. Her approach is eclectic, drawing from bio-psycho-social, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, client-centered, and solution-focused therapies, and she tailors care to each client while acknowledging her personal values rooted in Christianity.
