Dedra Tentis

Dedra Tentis, MSW, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and uses eye movements and imagery in trauma treatment.

Following a traumatic spinal cord injury during one of her four military deployments, she discovered the life-changing benefits of ART as a client and later became a trained ART therapist. She works with a range of trauma- and stress-related concerns including sexual abuse/assault, phobias, depression, anxiety, grief, panic attacks, addictions, OCD, hoarding, sleep problems, nightmares, co-dependency, marital problems, pain management, and migraines.

She also uses TF-CBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to tailor care, guiding clients to reprogram stress memories and images, eliminate reactions to triggers, and develop positive strategies for dealing with stressors in a safe, non-judgmental space.
