Dedra Tentis

Dedra Tentis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma therapy with a focus on Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Tentis works with people facing challenges such as sexual abuse, phobias, depression, anxiety, and grief, among others.

Tentis's journey into trauma therapy was inspired by her own experience with ART following a traumatic spinal cord injury during military service. She returned to academia to become a trained ART therapist, equipped to guide others through their own trauma and stress.

Her therapeutic approach includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Based Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Clients can expect a tailored approach that addresses their needs, fostering a safe, non judgmental environment. Tentis helps clients reprogram stress memories and develop positive strategies, moving them towards a more balanced life.
