Dorin Roth

Dorin Roth, Psy.D., Limited Permit Psychologist, specializes in cultural displacement, family dynamics, and couples and family work. Bilingual Hebrew/English and an immigrant with lived experience of cultural displacement, she works with first-generation Americans and others navigating cultural loss, mourning, and intergenerational conflict.

She treats anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and life transitions. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Long Island University-Post and a pre-doctoral internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Weill Cornell Medical College, with training placements at Columbia University Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and actively engaged; she draws on clients' existing strengths to generate strategies targeting pressing concerns. She offers therapy in both Hebrew and English to better meet clients' cultural and linguistic needs.
