Dorine D'Angelo

Dorine D'Angelo, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in empowerment therapy and addictive disorders. She earned her MSW from Adelphi University and worked at an international law firm, Davis Polk & Wardwell, assisting Suffolk County Human Rights and Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. She worked with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder on executive functioning, problem-solving, and organization at Adelphi University and completed an internship at Community Housing Innovations (CHI) working with individuals, groups, parents, and children in temporary housing.

Dorine served as Chairperson of NASW, LISSN and as a member of the NASW Veterans Committee. She emphasizes integrity, high standards of care, and empathy, offering a safe, supportive environment focused on empowerment and addressing family and addiction-related challenges.
