Elena Matthews

Elena Matthews, M.A., LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico (License Number: CCMH0219101) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

She has a foundation in humanistic counseling and expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and specializes in life transitions, identity issues, relationship challenges, body image struggles, stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. Her background includes work with Domestic Violence survivors and career counseling in a university setting.

A native New Mexican, Elena received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of New Mexico. As a queer woman, she works collaboratively as a supportive guide, grounding care in clients' values to help them engage with their authentic selves and pursue meaningful change.
