Emily Carrington

Emily Carrington, LCSW, has over 13 years of clinical experience and uses a warm and strengths-based approach. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed therapy, DBT skills training, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by graduate work at Louisiana State University, and her clinical experience spans across the entire lifespan, from infant and early childhood mental health to adulthood. Emily has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Her practice focuses on relationship stress, codependency patterns, improving boundaries, and treating addiction and eating disorders, with individualized treatment that centers client goals and practical skill-building.
