Raised in the Lower Yakima Valley, Fernando's journey into the field of psychology began after his service in the Marine Corps, which he left in 2014 to pursue his passion for understanding the human mind.
Fernando's academic pursuits reflect his dedication to the field of mental health. He holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Washington State University and a Master's degree in Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Currently, he is furthering his expertise by pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Saybrook University, working under the primary supervision of Dr. N.K. Marks, Ph.D.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Fernando employs an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a diverse toolkit of therapeutic techniques.
