Gregory Jones, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, is Clinical Director and Founder at the Capital Center for Psychotherapy and Wellness. A certified sex therapist who is openly gay, he brings personal perspective and clinical expertise to sexual health and LGBTQ care.
He specializes in sex therapy, LGBTQ mental health, college-aged populations, the legal community, dependencies, and eating disorders, and provides individual, couples, and group therapy. He began his career in Washington DC in 2008 at Counseling and Psychiatric Services for Georgetown University as an LGBTQ specialist; his training includes a fellowship at Harvard University Health Services and an APA-approved internship at the Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center.
Dr. Jones uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic approaches, LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy, and Feminist Therapy, balancing evidence-based techniques with warmth and humor. His practice offers holistic wellness recommendations and includes his therapy dog, Yogi BooBoo the Corgi.
