He began his career in Washington DC in 2008, joining the staff at the Counseling and Psychiatric Services for Georgetown University as an LGBTQ specialist. This role allowed him to become a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ community in the greater DC area. His academic credentials include a fellowship at Harvard University Health Services and an APA-approved internship at Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center, where he honed his expertise in eating disorders and LGBTQ mental health.
Continuously driven to expand his knowledge and skills, Dr. Jones is currently working on his second doctorate in Sexology from the Modern Sex Therapy Training Institute. This ongoing pursuit of education reflects his commitment to providing the most current and effective care possible. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Jones runs an externship training program in clinical psychology for the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, sharing his expertise with the next generation of mental health professionals.
