Dr. Gregory Jones is a psychologist and certified sex therapist at the Capital Center for Psychotherapy and Wellness. Jones works with LGBTQ mental health, sex therapy, college-aged populations, and the legal community, addressing dependencies and eating disorders.
Jones began his career in Washington DC in 2008 at Georgetown University's Counseling and Psychiatric Services as an LGBTQ specialist. He completed a fellowship at Harvard University Health Services and an APA-approved internship at Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center. Currently, he is pursuing a second doctorate in Sexology from the Modern Sex Therapy Training Institute.
Jones employs cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic approaches, LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy, and Feminist Therapy. His sessions often include humor and holistic practices, supported by his therapy dog, Yogi BooBoo. Clients can expect a warm environment that encourages open dialogue and understanding.
