Heather Frank

Heather Frank, Psy.D., CGP, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of Chicago Counseling Collective. She is a Certified Group Psychotherapist who offers group therapy and has an interest in modern analytic group therapy.

She earned her M.A. and Psy.D. from the APA-accredited Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed a predoctoral internship at Pace University Counseling Center followed by postdoctoral hours at the University of Illinois Chicago Counseling Center.

Dr. Frank works with undergraduate and graduate students and early career professionals, specializing in relationship issues, family-of-origin concerns, life transitions, and women's mental health including prenatal and postpartum. She uses insight-oriented, collaborative therapy to explore past and present concerns, emphasizes therapist-patient fit, and seeks to co-create an empathic, accepting space with multicultural-informed treatment.
