In-Jung Hwang

In-Jung Hwang, LPC, NCC, RPT, is a licensed professional counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with children, teens, and families. She specializes in play therapy and treats anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, emotional regulation, and support during life transitions.

She earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (concentrations in child growth/development and counseling) and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. Licensed as a Professional Counselor in Georgia, she has worked in behavioral mental health agencies and as a school-based mental health therapist in multiple elementary schools.

At North Atlanta Psychotherapy, she uses play therapy with other evidence-based practices to help young clients express themselves, address difficulties, and build coping skills.
