Irina Ashamalla

Irina Ashamalla is a double Board Certified Nurse Practitioner whose expertise bridges the gap between physical and mental health. She works with patients to address the interplay between body and mind, offering comprehensive care at Notre Dame Behavioral Health.

Ashamalla's educational journey began with a Master of Science in Nursing, leading to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She furthered her qualifications by becoming a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Since 2013, she has been integral to Notre Dame Behavioral Health, where she also serves as Practice Manager.

In her practice, Ashamalla employs an integrative approach, using her background in family medicine to develop treatment plans that consider both physical and mental health. Clients can expect a balanced focus on overall well-being, blending clinical care with her administrative insights.
