James Allison

James Allison, MS, LPC, has over two decades of experience in education and six years as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He works with adolescents and adults, bridging educational environments and mental health to provide a comprehensive approach.

He specializes in depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, pornography addiction, and other sexual concerns, and also supports clients with phobias and suicidal ideation. This background makes him particularly adept at guiding adolescents through formative years.

James serves as a Mental Health Therapist at the Community Health Center of Lubbock and also sees clients at Rise Counseling evenings and some Saturdays. He employs evidence-based techniques, draws on recovery support group experience to help clients develop coping strategies and manage mental health, and is not currently accepting new clients.
