James Allison

James Allison is a Mental Health Therapist at the Community Health Center of Lubbock and also sees clients at Rise Counseling. Allison works with adolescents and adults, focusing on depression, anxiety, stress, and addiction, including pornography addiction and sexual concerns.

With over two decades in education and six years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Allison bridges educational environments and mental health support. His experience includes guiding adolescents through complex emotional landscapes, supported by his work in recovery support groups.

Allison employs evidence-based techniques to help clients develop coping strategies and manage mental health challenges. His approach is structured to foster personal growth and wellness. Although not currently accepting new clients, his contributions to Rise Counseling enhance the practice's comprehensive mental health services.
