Janet Camp

Janet Camp, PsyD, is a Licensed Psychologist with over two decades of experience. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, and identity issues, working with young adults, adults, and older adults of all genders.

She uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, interpersonal strategies, and mindfulness techniques. Dr. Camp has worked in private practice and university counseling centers in the United States and internationally and served as Associate Director of Counseling at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2007-2011.

Her practice emphasizes a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally informed approach that tailors care to each client’s needs. She offers brief and longer-term individual psychotherapy, with treatment duration guided by the nature of concerns, motivation, and level of distress.
