Jennifer Schenker

Jennifer Schenker, MS, EdS, LCMHCA, NCC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She holds an MS and EdS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and works with adolescents (ages 15+) and adults.

She specializes in relationship and peer issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and pet grief, and also addresses attachment and childhood-related concerns, identity exploration, self-esteem, emotion regulation, stress, and imposter syndrome. She uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and incorporates expressive arts, mindfulness, and music into sessions.

Jennifer practices from a person-centered approach and describes herself as a "curious consultant," collaborating with clients to build insight and practical coping strategies. She focuses on creating a supportive environment where clients can set goals and manage emotional challenges.
