Jessica's journey in the mental health field has taken her through a variety of settings, each contributing to her well-rounded approach. From residential facilities to group practices, and now in private practice, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of mental health challenges. This rich background allows her to tailor her approach to each client's unique needs, whether in individual or family therapy sessions.
Specializing in working with clients aged 3 and older, Jessica brings expertise to a wide range of areas. Her experience encompasses trauma, foster care and adoption issues, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, attachment disorders, autism, and aggressive behaviors. Additionally, her education and experience in working with LGBTQIA+ youth further broadens her ability to provide inclusive and affirming care.
Jessica's therapeutic toolkit is extensive and ever-evolving. She is AutPlay certified and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Child Parent Psychotherapy. Her eclectic approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Family Systems, and Person-Centered approaches. This diverse skill set allows her to adapt her methods to best serve each client's individual needs.
