Joey Ackerman

Joey Ackerman is a therapist who is the founder of Tête Therapy. Ackerman works with young adults, professionals, and creatives, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges. Her practice focuses on collaborative goal setting aligned with clients' well-being.

Ackerman graduated with a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and earned her MSW from New York University's Silver School of Social Work. She has completed extensive post-master's training, including certifications in Mindfulness, Eating Disorder Treatment, and DBT.

Using cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, Ackerman creates a client centered environment where therapeutic goals are mutually established. Clients can expect a supportive space to explore challenges and work towards meaningful change.
