Joshua Dotter

Joshua Dotter, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker who takes a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach. He addresses anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness techniques, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Drawing on a background in multiple levels of care, he works with adults aged 18 and above and offers both in-person and virtual sessions to increase accessibility. He adapts his techniques to each client’s needs.

Joshua creates a therapeutic environment that fosters trust and safety, working collaboratively to help clients gain deeper awareness of how internal and external interactions shape their experiences. His style emphasizes empowerment, gently encouraging and challenging clients toward meaningful change and increased fulfillment.
