Karmen Tuivai

Karmen Tuivai is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps clients navigate challenging life moments using empathy and evidence based practices. Tuivai works with trauma recovery, depression, anxiety disorders, and perfectionism, offering support to those facing grief and loss.

Tuivai holds a Master of Social Work and is a Certified EMDR Therapist as well as a Creative Grief Practitioner. Her therapeutic journey includes training in EMDR, ACT, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and DBT, which she integrates to tailor her approach to individual needs.

Employing a strength-based approach, Tuivai incorporates mindfulness and self-compassion into her sessions. Clients can expect a warm, non judgmental space where they feel heard and valued. Her "Grief Is Love" program offers a structured, supportive environment for exploring grief through expressive arts.
