Kat Chen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with people aged 16 and up, focusing on cultural sensitivity and humanistic approaches. Chen helps clients from underrepresented backgrounds navigate life transitions, acculturation pressures, and past traumas.

Chen earned her Master's in Clinical Social Work from Seattle University and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Washington. Her extensive experience includes roles in King County, medical clinics, hospitals, foster care, schools, and community health centers.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, Chen provides psychoeducation and skills to clients. She focuses on BIPOC, immigrants, refugees, ADHD, school stress, social anxiety, depression, and trauma. Clients can expect a comprehensive approach tailored to their needs.
