Katey Gibbins-Burdette

Dr. Katey Gibbins-Burdette is a postdoctoral psychology fellow in Ohio. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing personality disorders, trauma-related issues, relational problems, and mood and anxiety disorders. Gibbins-Burdette employs a range of therapeutic techniques to support her clients.

Gibbins-Burdette earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her doctoral internship at the Dayton VA Medical Center enhanced her skills with diverse populations. Her experience spans inpatient psychiatric hospitals, medical centers, and community mental health facilities.

She uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, emotion-focused techniques, and psychodynamic approaches. Gibbins-Burdette offers both in-person therapy at Dayton Seven Hills Psychology offices and telehealth services, ensuring flexible access to care.
