Katey Gibbins-Burdette

Katey Gibbins-Burdette, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow in Ohio who offers support to adolescents, adults, and couples and specializes in personality disorders, trauma-related issues, relational problems, and mood/anxiety disorders.

She uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), emotion-focused techniques, and psychodynamic approaches to tailor treatment. She earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University, completed her doctoral internship at the Dayton VA Medical Center, and has worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, medical centers, and community mental health settings.

Dr. Gibbins-Burdette offers in-person therapy at the Dayton Seven Hills Psychology offices and telehealth services. Her approach blends evidence-based methods with a compassionate stance to help clients address challenges and pursue personal growth.
