Katie Alderdice

Katie Alderdice is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Alderdice helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, ADHD, and trauma.

Alderdice earned her Master of Social Work from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, following her undergraduate studies in Sociology with a minor in Social Work at the University of Dayton in Ohio. Her academic background provides a holistic understanding of human behavior and social dynamics, enriching her therapeutic approach.

Alderdice utilizes evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-informed care. She also incorporates play therapy and art therapy techniques to engage clients creatively. With training in crisis management and experience in community-based mental health, Alderdice creates a safe environment for clients to express themselves and work toward positive change.
