Kellye Carlton

Kellye Carlton, LPC, works with children and families and uses research-based cognitive-behavioral methods. She integrates art therapy, play therapy, games, music, and other creative outlets to make therapy engaging and effective for children and adolescents.

Her experience ranges from helping children adjust to everyday stressors to addressing serious emotional and behavioral concerns related to trauma and abuse, and she has training in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy. She treats depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, selective mutism, attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorders, anger management, oppositional defiance.

She aims to help children and families adopt healthier ways of functioning, enhancing communication styles and strengthening relationships. master's degree in counseling and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas; licensed with the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.
