Kent Campbell, LMFT, is a marriage and family therapist with 20 years of experience. He is the founder and president of Family Matters group counseling practice and serves on the CAMFT Ethics Committee.
He was trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Palo Alto Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program and integrates mindfulness-based meditation and cognitive behavioral interventions. For couples work he employs the Gottman method and the Developmental Model of the Couples Institute.
Kent helps clients identify and alter ingrained habits through careful analysis and emphasizes experiential practice so new interaction patterns can be applied outside therapy. He aims to support clients in managing anxieties, repairing relationships, and choosing behaviors aligned with their values.
