Kipp Helmer

Kipp Helmer, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of professional counseling experience at Spokane's Heart to Heart Counseling, where he joined the practice in 2009.

He specializes in depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood abuse, and anger management, and provides marriage counseling for couples. He uses Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

He earned a BS in psychology from the University of Idaho in 1989 and an MSW from Eastern Washington University in 2002. As a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), he applies a holistic, client-centered approach that considers how clients interact with their environment and helps them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and skill.
