Kristin Orbin

Kristin Orbin, Graduate Level Intern at Wise Family Wellness, is pursuing her master's in clinical counseling at Southern New Hampshire University and is a queer, neurodivergent counseling intern. She brings personal and academic experience to her work.

She specializes with children, tweens, and teens and supports the adults who care for them. Kristin works from a family systems lens and integrates trauma-focused cognitive behavioral techniques and solution-focused approaches, and uses writing, art, play, and other creative therapeutic approaches.

She has a particular passion for supporting individuals who have experienced religious trauma and abuse while coming out as LGBTQIA+ in conservative environments. Kristin values safety, acceptance, intentional listening, and validation, and provides compassionate, individualized care for clients processing trauma, anxiety, depression, or ADHD.
