Kristin Orbin

Kristin Orbin is a Graduate Level Intern at Wise Family Wellness. Orbin works with children, tweens, and teens, as well as the adults who care for them. She helps those grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and religious trauma, especially in LGBTQIA+ contexts.

Orbin is currently pursuing her master's in clinical counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. Her lifelong passion for journaling informs her therapeutic approach, encouraging clients to explore their inner worlds through writing. This creative modality facilitates deep processing of internal thoughts and dialogues.

Orbin's counseling philosophy is grounded in a family systems lens, recognizing the interconnectedness of individual experiences. She incorporates trauma-focused cognitive behavioral techniques and solution-focused approaches, along with art and play therapies. Clients can expect a safe, validating environment where they can explore their experiences and emotions authentically.
