Kristin Shiver

Kristin Shiver, MS, RMHCI, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Bright Future Behavioral Health with over 17 years of experience working with children facing special needs, trauma, and behavioral challenges. She works with children and adults and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within an Integrated Therapeutic Approach, including a CBT Play-based approach for children and adolescents.

She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and serves as Office Manager at Bright Future Behavioral Health. Kristin is trained in Active Parenting and conducts parenting classes required by DCF.

Her practice emphasizes individualized, practical care to address anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and substance use issues, helping clients and families develop skills to manage challenges.
