Lauren Macmillan

Lauren Macmillan, Psy.D., is a supervisor shaping the next generation of mental health professionals at Heritage Clinic. She focuses on nurturing clinical skills in those working with older adults and guides trainees in providing in-home and in-clinic care.

At Heritage Clinic, which has served the older adult community since 1979, she is part of a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. Her work contributes to the clinic’s psychotherapy, counseling, and specialized care for serious mental illnesses.

Macmillan’s supervision supports the clinic’s mission to enhance behavioral health and quality of life for seniors and their families. She helps prepare clinicians to address the unique challenges of aging and to serve older adults across Los Angeles County, including underserved communities and those facing barriers to traditional services.
