Lauren Mernick

Lauren Mernick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly two decades of experience helping adults overcome life's challenges and break generational cycles. Mernick works with self-esteem issues, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, and trauma recovery, focusing on adult clients.

Mernick holds an Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from Roger Williams University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Justice Studies from Rhode Island College. She is also a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Compassionate Leader.

Her therapeutic approach includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
