Lynnel Wells

Lynnel Wells, M.A., LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in the complexities of human relationships and sexuality. She focuses on sexual education; monogamous and polyamorous relationship work; gender and orientation understanding; harm-reduction strategies; and drug misuse disorders.

She received her master's degree in Counseling/Psychology from Holy Names University in Oakland. Since 2015 she has worked with individuals, couples, and families and works therapeutically with people who have developmental disabilities, offering in-person and virtual therapy sessions at Matters of the Heart Counseling Centers.

Her practice is grounded in the belief that it's never too late for personal growth, healing, and authentic self-discovery. She views clients as the experts of their own lives and serves as a guide to help them uncover undiscovered parts of themselves.
