Maika Ton-Nu

Maika Ton-Nu, MA, LGPAT, is a Licensed Graduate Professional Art Therapist and Registered Art Therapist – Provisional (ATR-P). They combine traditional therapeutic approaches with creative interventions; their toolkit includes Client-Centered Therapy, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Maika has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in online therapy groups, community programs for adults with developmental disorders, and hospital environments. They help clients manage behavior, improve social skills, and develop stronger coping mechanisms.

Maika creates a safe, open, and respectful space for dialogue where clients can explore emotions through verbal and artistic means and uses art as a supportive tool. They tailor methods to each client's needs to support self-awareness, goal setting, healthy boundaries, and resilience.
