Marissa Frickenschmidt

Marissa Frickenschmidt, LIMHP, works with youth, adolescents, and young adults and specializes in depression, anxiety and mood disorders; grief; trauma; suicidal thoughts; self-harm behaviors; low self-esteem; and relationship challenges.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2015) and a Master's in Counseling from Doane University (2019), and has experience in residential and outpatient settings. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy.

Marissa uses a person-centered, strength-based, collaborative approach focused on healing, resilience, and growth, aiming to create a safe space that equips clients with tools to address current concerns and manage future transitions.
