Markie Nickens

Markie Nickens, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who works with teens and young adults ages 13 to 35. She specializes in depression, anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD and uses CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Strengths-Based Perspective, and Internal Family Systems-Informed therapy.

Her practice focuses on adolescence and early adulthood, supporting clients through life transitions and identity development. Born and raised in North Carolina, she operates under the direction of Lauren Crawford Taylor (LCSW) and receives clinical supervision from Rita Mathis, LCSW.
