Melissa Brower

Melissa Brower, MEd, LPC, RPT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of specialized experience working with children and families. She is a Registered Play Therapist and certified Autplay therapist and earned a Master's degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University.

As co-owner of Rise Counseling, she serves the Lubbock community; her areas of focus include Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, ADHD, self-harm, and trauma. Melissa uses play-based techniques to help children express themselves and to teach positive coping skills and emotional management through tailored interventions that involve caregivers when appropriate.
