Melissa Yoak

Melissa Yoak, LPCC-S, is Director/Counselor at DaySpring Counseling and holds an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron and a BA in Psychology from Malone University.

With more than 25 years of experience in community agency work and private practice, she specializes in couples and family therapy and supports individuals coping with anxiety, stress, depression, and life adjustments.

She joined DaySpring Counseling in 2004, became Director in 2008, and opened the Stow/Hudson office in 2013; her leadership includes managing the Akron location. Married and a mother of three teens and involved in church ministry for over 15 years, Yoak brings a family-centered, community-minded perspective to her clinical work.
