Merisa Salazar

Merisa Salazar, MSSA, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who earned her Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) from Case Western University. She treats anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life adjustments and has experience working with children facing behavioral issues. She received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) from the Institute of Creative Mindfulness. Shaped by her Mexican heritage, she has a special interest in serving the LGBTQ+ community and minority groups and advocates for her clients when needed. Her collaborative, compassionate approach emphasizes understanding and practical support so clients feel seen and heard.
