Merisa Salazar

Merisa Salazar is a Licensed Independent Social Worker offering a compassionate and understanding approach to therapy. Salazar works with people facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life adjustments, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community and minority groups.

Salazar holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western University. Her practice is enriched by her Mexican heritage and deep empathy for minority groups. She has significant experience working with children facing behavioral issues and has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) from the Institute of Creative Mindfulness.
