Michelle Cermak

Michelle Cermak is a Licensed Professional Counselor who integrates traditional therapy with somatic practices. Cermak works with adults and adolescents, addressing trauma, attachment wounds, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, providing a comprehensive approach to mental health.

Cermak holds a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and has specialized training in EMDR from EMDR Consulting. Her holistic perspective is further supported by her 600-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and additional training in Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapy from the Amrit Yoga Institute.

In her practice, Cermak combines cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR with body-centered modalities like yoga. She uses solution-focused brief therapy and somatic therapy to tailor sessions to client needs.
