Monica Melgar

Monica Melgar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in long term trauma work, focusing on recovery from developmental, shock, and relational trauma. Melgar works with LGBTQ2S+ community members and people from mixed cultural backgrounds, offering a sex-positive and kink-friendly approach.

Melgar earned their Masters of Social Work from Portland State University in 2020 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon. They are currently training at Somatic Experiencing International to become a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, reflecting their commitment to trauma-informed care.
