Nicole Issa

Nicole Issa, PsyD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of PVD Psychological Associates. She works with older adolescents, college students, and adults across Rhode Island, New York, and Massachusetts.

She has advanced training in psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health issues, with a focus on college student mental health and supporting LGBTQIA-identified individuals.

Dr. Issa is active in professional advocacy, serving as Treasurer of the Rhode Island Psychological Association (RIPA) and previously chairing its Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity Committee. Her collaborative and egalitarian approach is grounded in empathy and evidence-based techniques to help clients navigate personal and transitional challenges.
