Nikki Braaten

Nikki Braaten, MA, LPCC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who employs a systems-based, narrative methodology and centers empowerment and collaboration.

She works with complex family of origin dynamics, helping clients develop confidence in setting boundaries and asserting their needs, and treats anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, grief, and psychedelic integration work. She is trained in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and completed Polaris Modules 1 & 2 in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Her educational background includes a BS in Family Social Sciences from the University of Minnesota and an MA in Counseling & Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Using a trauma-informed lens and a commitment to cultural humility, she provides a warm, direct, non-judgmental therapeutic environment and serves as an ally to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
