Patrick Cleveland

Patrick Cleveland is a founder and clinical director of Daybreak Counseling Center, works with high-functioning adults and professionals on personal development, stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Cleveland helps clients navigate relationship issues through a blend of academic rigor and practical experience.

Cleveland's academic journey began at California State University, Fullerton, where he earned dual degrees in psychology and philosophy. He pursued a master's degree in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, and a second master's in Philosophy as A Way of Life from the University of Liverpool. His experiences in community mental health include working with at-risk youth and people struggling with substance abuse.

Using an eclectic approach, Cleveland draws from psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems, and humanistic-existential psychotherapy. Clients can expect a structured yet explorative environment that encourages self-discovery and personal growth. His specialization in Lacanian psychoanalytic therapy provides a deep dive into unconscious motivations.
