Patti Finton

Patti Finton, LCSW-R, is Director of Operations at Syracuse Family Counseling and holds an MSW from Syracuse University; she is working towards an MBA at SUNY Oswego.

She specializes in working with children and adolescents and provides therapy to adults and couples. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure therapy and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment theories, and Family System Theory.

Patti began in 2010 at Vera House and has worked in university counseling at SUNY Cortland, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, a county-based clinic, a Primary Care Center, and outpatient behavioral health clinic. She collaborates with school systems and families and uses evidence-based practices to provide compassionate care while supporting the practice’s development.
