Patti Finton

Patti Finton is the Director of Operations at Syracuse Family Counseling. Finton works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, offering support across a range of mental health concerns. She collaborates closely with school systems and families, enhancing her ability to connect with clients of all ages.

Finton began her career in social work in 2010 at Vera House. Her diverse experience includes roles at SUNY Cortland's counseling center, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, a county-based clinic, a Primary Care Center, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic. She holds a Master's in Social Work from Syracuse University and is pursuing an MBA at SUNY Oswego.

Finton employs evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Prolonged Exposure therapy. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family System Theory. Clients can expect a structured and supportive environment where they can work toward personal growth.
