Ramzi Nassar

Ramzi Nassar, MD, is a Board-Certified General Adult Psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Born in Houston, Texas, he earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a minor in Chemistry from The American University in Washington, D.C., and completed his medical degree at Howard University in 1991. He went on to complete his residency in adult psychiatry at Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. After residency, Dr. Nassar spent three years serving the Norton Sound region while living in Nome, Alaska, before moving to Anchorage in 1998 to continue his practice with Providence Behavioral Medicine Group, where he later served as medical director from 2004–2009. In 2009, he founded his private practice and became a founding member of Alliance Behavioral Medicine, where he continues his work today.
