Rochelle Young

Rochelle Young is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern offering a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy. Young works with people facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief, life transitions, and ADHD in teens and adults.

Young's educational journey includes a background in education, which informs her therapeutic practice. Her personal experience of relocating to St. Petersburg at 23 for better mental health provides her with a perspective on life changes.

Her therapeutic style is person centered and holistic, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and Internal Family Systems. Clients can expect a collaborative environment focused on developing self-awareness and practical techniques like grounding and deep breathing. Sessions aim to help clients feel more confident and present.
