Sara Scott

Sara Scott, LPC-MHSP, is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider and a virtual therapist with over two decades of experience. She earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1998.

She uses EMDR (completed level II training), is a certified Sound Therapist and incorporates Art therapy into sessions. She teaches distress tolerance, core mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to support healing and skill-building.

Her experience includes outpatient and residential alcohol and chemical dependency treatment centers, work as a school counselor and Middle School Coordinator for Safe and Drug Free Schools, directing a large church counseling center in Nashville, and serving as Admissions Coordinator for an intensive in-home counseling facility for children, adolescents, and families.
