Sarah Steward

Sarah Steward is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (provisional) who offers a creative and person centered approach to therapy. Steward works with people facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions, providing a supportive environment for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Steward holds a B.A. in Art Education from the University of Iowa, an M.L.A in Organizational Development from the University of St Thomas, an M.S. in Adult Learning & Organizational Performance from Drake University, and an M.A. in Art Therapy, Clinical Counseling, and Adlerian Psychology from Adler Graduate School. Her diverse educational background enriches her practice.

Trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and art therapy, Steward adapts her methods to meet each client's needs. With over 18 years in corporate leadership and development, she offers practical insights into career transitions and work-life balance.
