Shana Hisaw

Shana Hisaw, M.S., LPC-S, Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Owner at Island Counseling Clinic, holds a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University and has been licensed and practicing since 2007.

She treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and trauma in clients aged 17 and up and offers premarital and marital couples counseling and life coaching. Her work uses CBT for depression and anxiety, exposure therapy for OCD, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma; she also incorporates Aroma Freedom (essential oils) when appropriate.

She leads psychological testing for the clinic and local providers and combines assessment with personalized care. A mother of four who relocated to Corpus Christi in 2013, she emphasizes holistic wellness and offers Christian counseling for those who desire it.
