Shana Hisaw

Shana Hisaw is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor who is the owner at Island Counseling Clinic. She works with clients aged 17 and up, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and trauma through a multifaceted approach.

Hisaw began her academic journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas in the Permian Basin, followed by a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University. Licensed and practicing since 2007, she has developed her skills across various therapeutic modalities.

Her therapeutic style includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, exposure therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Hisaw also incorporates the Aroma Freedom technique for a multisensory experience. Clients can expect a respectful, inclusive approach that considers physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
