Shana Mckissick

Shana Mckissick, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Point of View Counseling in the Ahwatukee Foothills of Arizona. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Phoenix and is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

She specializes in treating complex trauma and relationship distress, and her areas of expertise include codependency, borderline personality disorder (BPD), childhood trauma, parental alienation, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, divorce, separation, abandonment, and LGBTQIA issues. She has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Emotional Focused Couples Therapy, and the Gottman Method.
