Shana Mckissick

Shana L. McKissick is a licensed professional counselor who works with New Point of View Counseling in the Ahwatukee Foothills of Arizona. McKissick works with complex trauma, relationship distress, and emotional struggles, including codependency, borderline personality disorder, and childhood trauma. She also addresses self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQIA issues.

McKissick holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Phoenix. She is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Her training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method for couples.
