Shmuel Fischler

Shmuel Fischler is a clinical director who is the owner and clinical director of CBT Baltimore. Fischler works with adolescents and adults facing mental health challenges, with a particular focus on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Fischler's educational journey includes intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. He has advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from the University of Pennsylvania and pediatric OCD through the BTTI of the IOCDF. He is certified as a Cognitive Therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.

Fischler employs a calm and collaborative style, balancing a laid-back approach with a focus on treatment goals. He utilizes CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Clients can expect a transparent and engaging therapeutic environment. Fischler also contributes to the mental health community through education and outreach.
