Shmuel Fischler

Shmuel Fischler, LCSW-C, is the owner and clinical director of CBT Baltimore and is a certified Cognitive Therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. He specializes in treating OCD among adolescents and adults.

He has intensive CBT training at the Beck Institute, completed advanced ERP training at the University of Pennsylvania with Edna Foa, and received pediatric OCD training through the BTTI of the IOCDF. These trainings inform his evidence-based work with complex OCD presentations.

Curiosity and transparency form the cornerstone of his approach to therapy. He balances a laid-back manner with a laser focus on collaboratively developed treatment goals and prioritizes the therapeutic relationship as the driver of progress.
