About
Stacey Sinwald, M.Ed., LPC, earned both her Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University and has worked in community mental health centers and academia. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings an integrative, whole-health perspective drawing from person-centered and humanistic orientations.
She works with clients of all ages, particularly young and middle adulthood, and specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, addiction, trauma, self-harm, grief, sexuality, eating disorders, and relationship challenges. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and dialectical behavioral therapy to tailor care.
She incorporates Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) with therapy dog in training, Uno; certified professional dog trainer, adding an option for additional comfort and engagement during treatment.
